Following on from the knowledge and skills obtained during your RYA Coastal Skipper Motor course and after gaining the required experience, SBT aim to provide you with any additional preparation training required, prior to taking the RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate of Competence Exam. This will entail boat familiarisation, practicing marina manoeuvres, undertaking navigational passages and pilotage by day and by night, as well as some brushing up on some shore-based theory, to name but a few. With more emphasis now shifting towards integration of digital navigation, there will also be the opportunity to utilise our latest Raymarine navigation equipment.
This event will be conducted over 5 consecutive days. The first 4 Days will consist of honing both practical and theoretical skills by day and by night, in preparation to completing the exam on Day 5 (for those who have booked it prior).
